A small-town girl raised in beautiful Bluefield Virginia, Makenzie Phipps is making her music dreams come true by performing on stages everywhere, from local honky tonks to the Grand Ole Opry. Bobby Hayden Jr. 

From LA to a cardboard box home to Nashville, former MTV rock star, Bobby Hayden Jr. has played with the likes of Heart, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and Ozzy Osbourne. He lived the rock ‘n’ roll dream, and it nearly cost him his life – living homeless in a cardboard box. But then he met Jesus and his mission today is the Cardboard Box Ministry. This is his story. Nathan Sheridan

After being born to parents dealing with addiction, Nathan Sheridan and his sister – Sara – were raised by their grandparents in Louisiana. At a young age, Sara, was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed away shortly after. Not knowing where to turn, he enlisted in the U.S. Army at 17, where he was serving in the states and overseas for the next 6 years. Kristi Overton Johnson

In her thirty-five-year water ski career, World champion Kristi Overton Johnson fell every day. Yet in the midst of her falls and failures, she became one of the most decorated women water skiers of all times, holding the world record in women’s slalom from 1992-2010 and accumulating over 80 professional world titles. In 2013, God used a simple visit with an incarcerated friend to open Kristi’s eyes to the hopelessness of life behind bars and the need for imprisoned men and women to know the God of second chances. Since them, Kristi and her ministry have been committed to being a voice of hope to inmates across the United States. To date, over one million incarcerated souls have been impacted! Mattie Jackson

October 2017 was a big month for Mattie Jackson, daughter of country music artist, Allan Jackson. Her fairy tale wedding on the Jackson family estate in Franklin, Tennessee was featured as the cover story of the Summer-Fall issue of Southern Bride. But less than one year after she married Ben Selecman, an assistant district attorney in Nashville, Ben died unexpectedly when he slipped and suffered traumatic head injuries. Music artist, author, actress, Rebecca St. James, got her start in music at the tender age of 13 when she released an independent album titled, Refresh My Heart in her native Australia. TG Sheppard & Kelly Lang

Country Music legend, TG Sheppard stepped out in faith at the age of 15 to become one of the greatest country music artists and legends of all times. Many years later he would meet and marry a beautiful singer and songwriter, Kelly Lang, who was raised into country music. She, too, at the age of 15, recorded her first Billboard single, Lady, Lady. This country music power couple has graced stages all over the world. Frank Sutton, bass guitarist & vocalist with the Christian country music group, Jackson Heights, looks back on his earlier years on the road, the financial difficulties, and the time to call it quits. He, too, faced many financial challenges during those years, but God was faithful. Twenty-five years later the band reunited and with the new name, Jackson Heights. And they haven’t slowed down yet. Ernie Haase – Signature Sound
