Mattie Jackson
October 2017 was a big month for Mattie Jackson, daughter of country music artist, Allan Jackson. Her fairy tale wedding on the Jackson family estate in Franklin, Tennessee was featured as the cover story of the Summer-Fall issue of Southern Bride. But less than one year after she married Ben Selecman, an assistant district attorney in Nashville, Ben died unexpectedly when he slipped and suffered traumatic head injuries. Music artist, author, actress, Rebecca St. James, got her start in music at the tender age of 13 when she released an independent album titled, Refresh My Heart in her native Australia. Country Music legend, TG Sheppard stepped out in faith at the age of 15 to become one of the greatest country music artists and legends of all times. Many years later he would meet and marry a beautiful singer and songwriter, Kelly Lang, who was raised into country music. She, too, at the age of 15, recorded her first Billboard single, Lady, Lady.
